Large scale projects

AIMS starts the largest national recruitment project for GlaxoSmithKline. After taking over the company Europharm, GlaxoSmithKline recruits more than 200 people for the national sales network; in three months, 6,000 candidates go through the recruitment process.

In the same timeframe, AIMS organises the first Assessment and Development Centres for the multinational companies. BRAU UNION (currently Heineken Romania) places more than 100 managers in development centres.

More and more companies resort to this service in order to assess and develop its managers (GSK, JTI, Continental) or persons with management potential (Lisa Draexlmaier / Rolem Brasov and Pitesti). In 2002, Campofrio works with AIMS to evaluate its entire sales team, and in 2003, a Human Resources audit is held at Comceh Calarasi.

Following the selection process held with AIMS, the first GSK Summer School is organized through assessment centres, an event which will continue a few years in a row.

During this timeframe AIMS carries out other consulting projects: HR audits (UCMR), Performance Management Systems (UPS), Employee Satisfaction Studies (Danone, Schneider Electric), a wide range of Outplacement and Counselling programs in several locations (the closing of the Ursus plants in Pitesti and Buzau).

Starting with 2002, the AIMS trainers undergo complex training programs with customers such as Metro Romania or Banca Transilvania.

In 2003, Daniel Yollek, the president of AIMS International, is invited in Romania for the first Executive Coaching Seminars with Connex (now Vodafone) and Aviva. AIMS introduces the Coaching concept and principles on the Romanian market.

In 2004, the office in Timisoara turnes 10 years of existence. The party remains in the city’s memory as one of the largest and most successful anniversary events of a company, with more than 200 guests from the most relevant companies in the West part of Romania. The film shot on this occasion by the AIMS Timisoara team, with the help of the director Dan Ratiu, becomes a real success.
