The Beginning
A group of American and Romanian entrepreneurs conceived the structure of a holding with Advertising, Market Research and Human Resources activities. The interaction between these entrepreneurs and a group of enterprising students from the Academy of Economic Studies (and also members of AIESEC) resulted rapidly in the foundation of a series of companies.
Mihaela Perianu, one of the students, chose the Human Resources business and the first project was the recruitment and selection of 15 employees for the subsidiary office of RJ Reynolds (currently, JTI) in Romania. This leads to the establishment of Snelling Personnel Services, and Mihaela, fresh graduate of a specialization course in America, is appointed the company’s manager.
Snelling recruits specialists for the first hierarchical levels of multinational companies and rapidly grows from 3 to 12 consultants. The business potential and the team’s energy dictate the next strategic move – the opening of new offices.
