He is a graduate of the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication Studies, University of Bucharest, and a genuine representative of the Generation Y. He is also a graduate of the Master’s programme `Multimedia and Audio-Video Production` and of a Post-Graduate Module of Psychology and Pedagogy. He has seven years of experience in teaching, as a university Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Journalism, doubled by the collaboration with various traditional and online media outlets. He is also fascinated by Social Media, Web 2.0, Digital Graphic Design, Jazz music and documentary movies.
In 2007 he published, as co-author, the first Romanian book, written by local authors, which treats holistically the subject of Weblogs as a media and socio-cultural phenomenon, but also as communication tool. He joined the AIMS team in the summer of 2011.

The transition from Journalism to Marketing was a successful step, because he discovered that the Human Resource industry is a fertile domain for a Communication Specialist, especially in the age of Online Communication tools. A few months since joining the company, Matei is still “fascinated, absorbed and pleased” of every little detail he discovers in its relationship with AIMS and with this industry.
His winner attitude, along with a strong team, that is well-anchored in business, are the main arguments that Matei uses to define what is special about AIMS. Even more, he immediately fell for Hans and Fila, the two dogs which are already part of the team. And he also enjoys the coffee, always at his disposal, which he serves with "stolen" milk from the fridge, from his colleagues.
